For 11 years Catalina Restrepo Ivanovich worked as a freelance Producer and Production Supervisor for feature films, commercials, and music videos.  It wasn’t until she was pregnant with her beautiful daughter, Mia, that she realized she needed a new career path.

Catalina wanted to find something that would allow her as much time with her daughter as possible and opening a store front seemed to be the most sensible approach.  Once she realized Burbank was lacking a baby & kids boutique, Mia and the Dragonfly was born.

The boutique carries clothing, books, toys & essentials for newborns to 8 years of age, including all of the unique items you can’t get in big box stores.  Mia & the Dragonfly also offers local resources and events including crafts, music, dance, language classes & much more.
